Almost, Maine

On a cold, clear, moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream that has been called an “unapologetically romantic fable.”

Roles have been cast! Meet the cast
Auditions for La Crosse Community Theatre’s winter comedy Almost, Maine will be held on December 13 & 14 at 7 pm at La Crosse Community Theatre, 118 5th Avenue North in Downtown La Crosse. Roles are available for 2-3 men playing a total of 10 roles and 2-3 women playing a total of 9 roles. Auditionees must be ages 18 and up and should have a one-minute contemporary monologue prepared, please, no classical pieces.
Almost, Maine will perform from January 28 through February 13. Rehearsals will begin on Monday, December 20 with a break for the Holidays. For more information, or to schedule an audition for Almost, Maine, please call the box office at 608-784-9292 ext 2.
