Gretchen is in the 7th grade at Longfellow Middle School and is making her LCT debut. She has been seen in the Longfellow productions Heidi (Heidi) and HONK! Jr (Downy). Gretchen enjoys playing the violin, fishing and ice skating and likes theatre because of the dedication and effort everyone puts in. She would like to thank her grandparents, mom, dad and sisters for supporting and loving her and her Aunt Sara for “giving me motivation.”

Samantha has been involved in Missoula Children’s Theatre and enjoys cross-country, hanging out with friends, spending time with her grandma and theatre because “you can express yourself and your best/worst qualities.” Samantha would like to thank her mom, dad and grandparents for supporting her and her friends for coming to her performances.

Katherine is an avid reader who likes tennis, golf, swimming and theatre because it “has really inspired me to be myself.” Katherine would like to thank her family for their support and love.

Leslie Bates

Leslie is a recent graduate of Logan High School and will be beginning her studies at the University of Michigan for a BFA in theatre design and production this fall. Leslie has been active this season at LCT as the costume designer for Driving Miss Daisy and sound designer for Escanaba in Da Moonlight, and has worked as costume coordinator for The Fantasticks at Appleseed Community Theatre. In her spare time Leslie is involved in Quiz Bowl and enjoys rollerblading and movies. She would like to thank her family for their support.

Lori is originally from Chicago but has spent most of her life in the Coulee Region. She received her BA in Theatre, Speech Communication and English from UW-La Crosse. Through the years she has directed over 60 shows and has had the privilege of teaching countless students of all ages about theatre. Lori thanks all her students for the hard work, dedication and joy they bring to LCT. She would especially like to thank her amazing son, Blais, for his years of support. Love to B, R and Sea Monkey.

Greg Parmeter
Artistic Director
Greg earned his MFA from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Professional acting credits include seasons with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, the Virginia Shakespeare Festival, the Northern Fort Playhouse in South Dakota, and a tour with the Hampstead Stage Company, a children’s theatre based in New Hampshire. Previously, Greg taught elementary special education, worked as the Technical Director for Aberdeen Central High School, and as an instructor and director with T.O.Y.Box Children’s Theatre.

Dillon McArdle

Dillon is from Minneapolis but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his wife, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter
Costume Designer, Costume Supervisor
Mandy is in her 3rd season here at LCT and is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy and Greg have recently celebrated the birth of their son Benjamin in October and look forward to him growing up in the La Crosse Community.

Hal Keitel
Interim Managing Director
Hal has worn many hats in his career. He started in educationas a high school teacher, guidance counselor and principal. Next he worked for the Aetna Insurance company, as a Regional Manager and Assistant VP of International Operations. Following that, he established an independent insurance agency in the Madison area, The Keitel Group. Prior to his retirement, Hal served as Development Director at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center. In his Rotary life, Hal served as club president (3 different clubs), Assistant District Governor, District Foundation Chair, and most recently, District Governor in 200607. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Columbus Chemical, Inc.
