Ken E. Brown
Max Bialystock

Ken works for Gundersen Lutheran and is happy to back on the LCT stage. He previously appeared in Damn Yankees and Urinetown. His credits elsewhere include many shows with Appleseed Community Theatre, UWL, Wisconsin Touring Theatre Company, the Great American Children’s Theatre, and many others. He loves that LCT provides him with the opportunity to meet many new friends. Ken wishes to thank his wife and family.

Harrison DeCreny*
Leo Bloom

Harrison graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Viterbo and his making his first appearance at LCT. His credits elsewhere include Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, and The Importance of Being Ernest. What he loves about LCT are the great people to work with, the awesome shows, and having so much fun. Harrison wishes to thank his family and friends for always being supportive.

Kevin Laumbach
Franz Liebkind

Kevin is making his return to the LCT stage; he was last seen as Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. His hobbies include gardening, sewing, and music mixing. His favorite thing about theatre is the thrill of stepping out on that stage and connecting with the audience, there is nothing else like it. Kevin wishes to thank David for putting up with his craziness and his mom for always encouraging him to shoot for the stars.

Mary Leigh Christine*
Ulla

Mary Leigh recently graduated from Viterbo with a BFA in Music Theatre. She is proud to be making her LCT debut. Her other credits include roles in Dames at Sea, Violet, and Plain & Fancy. She loves theatre because it’s a chance to escape from real life and get lost in another world. Mary Leigh wishes to thank her Mom, Judie, and her Dad, Michael.

Scott Rathgaber
Roger De Bris

Scott is a physician at Gundersen Lutheran. He has appeared in many LCT shows including Big: The Musical and as Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. When not acting, Scott enjoys traveling and golf. His favorite part about LCT is meeting the many new and talented people in the cast and crew. Scott thanks Mary, Adam, and Ronnie for their support and encouragement.

Mike Adank
Carmen Ghia

Mike is a free-lance videographer and camera operator at WKBT. His theatre credits at LCT include Something’s Afoot and You Can’t Take It With You. Mike enjoys disc golf, hiking, making “home movies,” and rugby. He believes that LCT is one of La Crosse’s hidden gems and hopefully it can soon shine bright along the riverside. Mike wishes to thank Greg for the opportunity and Judee for her love and undying support.

Rob Pischke
Ensemble - Chris

Rob is a Sophomore at UWEC and is brand new to LCT. His credits elsewhere include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat, Hello Dolly!, and Beauty and the Beast. He likes LCT because of the high caliber of shows we stage here and the ability to learn from people with so much talent. Rob wishes to thank his brother for getting him into theatre and his parents for their everlasting support.

Ken is a sales associate at SSE Music. He has appeared at LCT in Something’s Afoot and The Fantasticks. His hobbies include golfing (poorly), board games, and card games. His favorite part of LCT is the incredible people that he meets. “It truly is a family here at LCT.” Ken wishes to thank Jen, without whom he have neither the courage nor the ability to perform onstage. Aaron White
Ensemble - Stuart

Aaron is a Sophomore at La Crescent High School where he appeared as Danny in Grease and Al in Working. His previous credits here at LCT include Mame and Godspell. His favorite part about theatre is that the family that is formed throughout the rehearsal process is awesome. Aaron wishes to thank Carli and Luke and “the fam.”

Scott is a member service representative at Community Credit Union. He previously appeared at LCT in Fiddler on the Roof and The Pajama Game. He has also appeared elsewhere in Jesus Christ Superstar. His favorite thing about theatre is the sense of community and the ability to become a different character. Scott wishes to thank the fam.

Ryan Knox
Ensemble - Eugene

Ryan works for Western Computer Programming and has appeared in many LCT productions including Urinetown and Big. He has also appeared on stage at the Madison Community Theatre in Big River and Fiddler on the Roof. He loves musicals and getting to know the cast and crew of each show. He also loves to entertain audiences. Ryan thanks his mom and Aunt Pat for their love and support of the theatre.

Melissa Graf*
Ensemble - Mandy

Melissa is a Senior at La Crescent High School and is making her LCT debut. She has appeared in La Crescent productions of Grease and Working. Her hobbies include hiking, horseback riding, and randomly bursting out into song. Melissa thanks anyone who is reading her bio as well as her family and friends.

Maja Grinsted Hillegass
Ensemble - Doris

Maja is an International Customer Support Representative at S&S Cycle. She previously appeared on-stage at LCT in The Sound of Music. Her credits elsewhere include Jesus Christ Superstar, A Clockwork Orange, Cyrano, and Treasure Island and many others. She loves theatre because it’s fun. Maja wishes to thank her family for encouraging her to explore her creative talents.

Emily is a Senior at Central High and will be attending Columbia College in Chicago in the Fall to major in film. Her previous shows at LCT include Fiddler on the Roof and Big. Emily wishes to thank her family and friends and Johnny B. Wright.

Jen Roberdeau
Ensemble - Lily

Jen is Director of Alumni Relations at Viterbo University. She has appeared in many shows in the area and is proud to be making her LCT debut. Her hobbies include acting, singing, dancing, and running. Jen truly believes in the power of theatre to tell our stories and celebrate our community. There is no closer-knit group of people than the cast of a community theatre show. “Ken, you never cease to amaze me. I love you!”

Amanda Grimsled
Ensemble - Jean

Amanda is a tuxedo and bridal consultant at The Wedding Tree. She was last seen on LCT’s stage in last season’s The Sound of Music. Her hobbies include crocheting, playing guitar, and, of course, theatre. Her favorite part about theatre is helping a whole group of people to have a singular, shared feeling. Amanda thanks her friend and family for their love and support.

Tim Harris
Ensemble - Brian

Tim is General Manager at Mr. Sandless Wood Floor Refinishing. He has previously appeared at LCT in Something’s Afoot and To Kill a Mockingbird. Tim’s hobbies include disc golf and watching his beloved Chicago Cubs. He is proud of LCT’s continued efforts to bring the arts to La Crosse. Tim wishes to thank his parents for their continued support and Steve for his flexibility.

Cameron is a Senior at Central High School and is making his LCT debut. He enjoys singing and dancing as well as traveling to new places and seeing new things. Cameron loves that theatre allows performers to become someone else. He wishes to thank his mom and dad.

Christopher Dresen
Ensemble - Scott

Chris is a small business owner and landscape contractor. He is making his return to LCT after last appearing as the baker in Into the Woods. He loves theatre because each show is different, and each performance is unpredictable, spontaneous. It’s a moment in time that can never be duplicated. Chris wishes to thank his 4th grade teacher for telling him in music class that “none of these boys can carry a tune in a bucket, but you can sing!”

Thomas Sturino*
Ensemble - Jason

Thomas is a Senior at Viterbo University and is making his LCT debut. His theatre credits elsewhere include Guys and Dolls, Pippin, and Anything Goes. Thomas’s hobbies including playing clarinet, drums, tennis, and snowboarding. He loves having a great time with people in the theatre. Thomas wishes to thank Mary Leigh Snider and Harrison DeCreny for getting him back into theatre.

Allan Johnson
Ensemble - Donald

Allan has worked at Quillin’s for 11 years and is happy to be back on stage at LCT. His previous credits here include Moonface Martin in Anything Goes and Dr. Grayburn in Something’s Afoot. His hobbies include walking, cooking, and rooting for the 49ers. He love LCT because he has a great time and meeting new people. “The theatre on-stage is another world for me.” Allan thanks Tom for understanding how an actor works.

Ensemble - Mitzi

Annie attends La Crescent High School and has appeared at LCT in Godspell Jr. and The Goodbye Girl. She has also appeared in numerous productions with Appleseed Community Theatre. Her hobbies include singing and acting. What she loves about LCT is "the fact that you’re experiencing so many different lives, when in reality, we’ve got one!" Annie thanks her family and friends.

Ensemble - Kiss Me Feel Me

Jennifer is a paralegal at Murphy Law and is an active member of Christ Episcopal Church. She also enjoys knitting at Fitting Knit Shop. Before this, Jen has appeared on-stage at LCT in Twelfth Night and Something’s Afoot. She enjoys theatre because it lets her be the natural ham that she is. Jen wishes to thank her husband Euel for his support and Brian and Jane Murphy for their tolerance.

Marcia Brendum*
Ensemble - Shirley

Marcia is a Sophomore at Viterbo University and is making her LCT debut. She appeared on-stage in HONK! and The Diviners at Aquinas and directed A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Oliver!, The King and I, and Antigone as well. Marcia thanks her friends and family, and Anna Smerud for forcing her to try out. “Thanks!”

Ted Peck

Ted is a perinatalogist at Gundersen Lutheran. He previously appeared on-stage at LCT in The Sound of Music and HMS Pinafore. Ted’s other credits include Fiddler on the Roof, as Tevye, and Annie Get Your Gun. His favorite part about LCT is the fun, the people, and the enduring friendships. Ted wishes to thank his wife Vicki for putting up with a lot of lonely evenings while he and Emily are in this show.

Stacy Bruemmer
Ensemble - Hold Me Touch Me

Stacy is a pre-school aid at Coulee Children’s Center. She previously appeared at LCT in You Can’t Take It With You and Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus. In her free time, Stacy enjoys scrap booking. She says “to be someone else for awhile is so rejuvenating! Don’t you agree?” She wishes to thank Sheryl, for calling, Kate, for sitting, and Mac and Anna for letting her out to play.

Samantha Pauly*
Usherette

Samantha is a Freshman at Viterbo University and this is her LCT debut. She has numerous credits elsewhere and her hobbies include singing, dancing and acting. Samantha loves everything about theatre. “It’s my whole life and I love it more than anything!” She wished to thank her parents and the LCT staff for including her in the show.

Greg earned his MFA from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His credits include seasons with the Nebraska Repertory Theatre, Virginia Shakespeare Festival, Northern Fort Playhouse, and the Hampstead Stage Company. Previously, Greg was the technical director at Aberdeen Central High School and an instructor/ director with T.O.Y.Box Children's Theatre. Greg also developed a pilot program, called ArtSpark, with Trollwood Performing Arts School in Fargo, N.D.

Dillon is from Minneapolis, but grew up in Las Vegas. He received a bachelor of arts degree in technical production and design from Viterbo University. Professional credits include the Great River Shakespeare Festival in Winona, Minn., the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in Williamsburg, Va., and the Commonweal Theatre Company in Lanesboro, Minn. Dillon thanks all the volunteers who have given countless hours of time and, most of all, his fiancé, Megan, who supports him in every way.

Mandy Parmeter

Mandy is originally from Aberdeen, S.D. She received her bachelor's degree in music education from Northern State University, where she discovered a passion for theatre. After a year of teaching music, she moved to Lincoln, Neb., to study costume design. She received her MFA in costume design in May 2005. Her work has taken her from Oklahoma to Washington, Virginia, Nebraska, and Wisconsin. Mandy thanks her husband, Greg, for relocating his life to La Crosse. His support is a true blessing and one of the reasons she loves him so much.

Matt Miller
Lighting Designer

Matt is a Chicago-based Lighting Designer, Assistant, and Electrician. His recent lighting work has included such shows as Chicago Takes Off 2009, The Chicago Symphony Orchestra’s Music Now series, and the Goodman Theatre Co.’s production of the world premiere play Ruined by Lynn Nottage, which recently won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Matt’s work in theatre has ranged from acting to design to playwriting. Matt holds a BFA in Lighting and a BA in Theatre Performance from the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska Lincoln.  It was there that he worked with Mandy and Greg, whom he would like to dearly thank for inviting him here to work.
