The Green Room Group
Because many of our volunteers work on many shows during each season, they may not be season ticket holders. We have created The Green Room Group so that these volunteers may make an acknowledged donation similar to a Patron donation. Green Room Group donations are acknowledged in the Mainstage programs.

Wish List
Each year in November, we send out a Holiday Wish List of items that we need. Our friends show their generosity and support by sending in donations toward the purchase of some of the items (or in some cases donating the item itself). If you don't receive a Wish List in the mail, please let us know and we'll be sure to send you one.

Project Donations
Occasionally, we ask our friends to contribute for a specific project such as travel to a regional, national or international festival or for new seating.
Endowment Fund
La Crosse Community Theatre has an Endowment Fund set up to provide for our future. This is money that is set aside to grow and provide an ever increasing source of interest/dividend income.

In-Kind Donations
An in-kind donation is a non-monetary contribution. It may be goods or services. Storage space is extremely limited. All potential donors must call the appropriate LCT staff member before making a donation. No unsolicited donations may be left at the theatre or costume shop. (For the Costume Design shop, please call 782-5545; for the Scenic Designer/Tech Director you may call 784-9292 or e-mail.)

The Wings Society
LCT has established The Wings Society, a way to honor those who have included LCT in their wills and estate planning. Named after the "wings," the area offstage where an actor prepares to make an entrance, The Wings Society will help the theatre prepare for a strong future.
By continuing to support LCT through planned giving, members also acknowledge that their theatre offers more than entertainment. La Crosse Community Theatre is a place where people seek self-expression, receive acknowledgement for their talents, and discover new purpose in their lives.

Our Needs
It is vital that we have sufficient funding in place to meet not only day-to-day operating expenses, but also the financial obligations required for quality programming. In the past, LCT has relied primarily on the revenue from ticket sales to cover production costs. While we have enjoyed community support in this area, a more fiscally responsible course means securing long-term sponsorships. This will strengthen our financial future and allow us to maintain a high caliber of productions, as well as ensure the continued availability of the unique entertainment and educational options we provide to the Seven Rivers Region.
Where Does Your Money Go?
In order to meet the artistic and entertainment goals to which the organization aspires, it is necessary to commit funds to many different areas of a production. When one considers the amount of money required to support theatrical productions in today’s marketplace, it is obvious that with extra financial support, LCT has the potential to attract larger audiences and expand production goals.
The following is a rough breakdown of the allocation of funds on an annual basis:
| Rights, royalties, and score rental |
$17,000 |
| Scripts |
$500 |
| Set construction |
$6,000 |
| Lighting rental, rigging |
$300 |
| Sound |
$300 |
| Costumes |
$5,000 |
| Make-Up |
$300 |
| Music Director |
$5,000 |
| Choreographer |
$3,000 |
| Annex Rental |
$6,000 |
| Props |
$2,000 |
| Publicity, programs |
$9,000 |
| Misc |
$2,000 |
| Total |
$56,400 |
Currently, as much as 60% of our operating budget is collected as revenue from ticket sales during the performance run. This means that we must be conservative in budgeting for a production.
With your assistance, however, many of these areas could be expanded.
Consider, for example, the overall impact of more elaborate costumes, sets, and lighting on our productions. La Crosse Community Theatre is known for its ability to stage outstanding productions on a limited budget. Imagine what could be achieved with your help!

LCT 2007-2008 Sponsorship Packages
