It is La Crosse Community Theatre’s mission to create productions and projects that enhance the theatrical literacy of our audience members, volunteers, students, and staff. Therefore we provide opportunities for creativity and personal growth through a variety of programs designed to appeal to a wide range of interests and talents. Our goal is to learn theatre by doing theatre in a fun, collaborative environment. To see all that LCT has to offer, click on any of the programs listed below.
Our theatre education program is designed for the student in all of us.
Our theatre for youth program is designed to be age appropriate both with our classes and with our productions. At the present we have three unique programs to help youth experience theatre.
Each year, La Crosse Community Theatre leads a trip to a city full of history, theatre and memories. Combined with shows and guided group events, we gain a special understanding of the world of professional theatre.
Theatre does not always mean scripts, costumes, lights, or fancy sets. Theatre is about making human-to-human connections, and nothing connects audiences to performers more than audience participation theatre.
Theatre begins with the script—the written instructions for creating a production. It is not possible to perform every script read. LCT’s Readers Theatre is designed to experience all that theatre can offer without the stage.
