LCT Announces Murder Mystery, ‘The Game’s Afoot’

La Crosse, WI – 11/05/18 – La Crosse Community Theatre announces that tickets go on sale Monday, November 12, 2018 for The Game’s Afoot. Performances begin December 6, 2018, and continue through Sunday, December 16, 2018. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. in the Lyche Theatre at the Weber Center for the Performing Arts.

It’s Christmas in 1936, and Broadway star William Gillette, admired for his leading role in Sherlock Holmes, has invited his fellow cast members to his Connecticut castle for a weekend of revelry. But when one of the guests is stabbed to death, the festivities quickly turn dangerous. Gillette, assuming the persona of Holmes, must now track down the killer before the next victim appears. Danger and hilarity are non-stop in this yuletide whodunit.

“Ken Ludwig is a titan in the world of Broadway comedy.
