Our education program reflects our mission. The goals of our education program are to provide opportunities for creativity and personal growth in a fun, collaborative environment and celebrate human connections through communication and interactions.
Our process ensures that students learn the fundamentals of acting, the basics of creating characters, and the skills to make connections with others on stage. Skills learned in the classroom are reflected in the actor’s work on productions. Classes are designed to move and change with the needs of the students, ensuring that all students receive the best education for them.
Winter 2019 Youth Classes
Classes meet on Saturday mornings January 12-March 2, 2019. Classes will not meet on Saturday, February 23, 2019.
Get ready to use your body to tell a story! You don’t need words when you can use your imagination, your body, and your fellow actors! This session will build on the skills learned in the fall session, but there are always NEW things to learn at the station!
9:00-9:45 a.m. • Age 5-7 • Tuition $70
Pair up and do a little acting with your fellow students. Acting 1 will explore small scenes with two or three actors, as well as some duet acts with a scene partner. This session will guide you in how to work with your fellow actors to create a scene from a play or original piece! You will practice the skills from the fall session and learn brand new ones, too!
10:00-11:00 a.m. • Age 8-10 • Tuition $70
Challenge yourself to memorize, stage, and perform a monologue! Acting 2 will explore the art of solo acting. We’ll find a monologue that’s right for you and then help you make it your own. You will use some of the skills from fall session and learn new ones as well!

Storytelling for Adults
This class is designed for adults who wish to learn how to tell a compelling and enjoyable story. It looks at what makes a good story, where to find good stories, how to write an engaging personal story, and different ways to make a story interesting. This is an interactive class with audio, video, and live demonstrations by professional storytellers.
