To All who were a part of “Thoroughly Modern Millie”
On Sunday, May 25, we brought down the curtain for the last time on Thoroughly Modern Millie. Five hours later, the stage was stripped, the lights were down, and the costumes were off to dry cleaning — all that remains are the memories of the experience.
The cycle of theatre continues as we are now putting up the set for Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, hanging lights, finishing the construction, shopping for costumes, and getting ready for another opening. For La Crosse the theatre cycle of rehearse, open, run, close, repeat, may be short and intense, but it is always fun, meeting new friends and renewing old acquaintances. However, the most important joy of theatre: unforgettable memories are made. This is why we do theatre over and over. Thank you for helping to make those memories at La Crosse Community Theatre.
