Mary Rathgaber
I am a retired Clinical Associate Professor from the Department of Health Professions at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. I hold an undergraduate degree from Lake Superior State University and an MD from Indiana University, where I also completed my Neurology residency.
My involvement with La Crosse Community Theatre began more than 20 years ago, inspired by my son’s excitement after seeing an LCT touring production in his second-grade classroom. His first audition—and first role—quickly drew the entire family into the world of community theatre. Over the years, my husband and both children have performed in numerous LCT productions, while I served a supporting role in the audience, back stage, and, for the past six years, as a member of the board of directors.
Community theatre has been a meaningful part of our family’s life, offering shared experiences and a strong sense of connection. I am grateful for the La Crosse community’s continued support of an organization that has given our family so many lasting memories.
